Utopia
Snowapple Collective presents Utopia, the music album and live show Utopia. After two years of researching Cyborgs, these enhanced-beings, Snowapple Collective, created the theater show Cyborg Experiment#1 which premièred at Avignon OFF in July 2024 and got loving reviews and was named Best Sound and Musical Creation as part of the Lauriers du Théâtre Indépendant awards.
Utopia (previously The Cyborg Recordings) is a dark and atmospheric album, splicing together the ambient and the experimental. The songs focus on guitar and synth sounds, with processed vocals and clarinet tones giving a flickering warmth to the otherwise ominous and steely cool. The album releases Friday 13 June, 2025, with a release concert at Paradiso in Amsterdam on 10 June 2025.
