We aimed and successfully worked with the community of mothers, sisters and survivors of femicide attacks. Especially for Snowapple Collective we designed an analogue ‘apocalyptic large scale slide’ and projected this in combination with analogue found waste material for the overhead projections in order to create an apocalyptic scenography in pure light. We call this instant projecting. The material is collected on the location; the main image was inspired by a large oil painting in a Franciscan Church in the city center of Mexico City.
