Open call for artist residencies - Heroes 2027
Casa Snowapple has launched its call for applications – Heroes 2027 – for artist residencies in Coyoacán, Mexico City, running from March through November 2027.
This call is open to women and LGBTQIA+ artists of all disciplines, nationalities, and experience levels, applying individually or as a group (up to 6 people).
With Heroes, Casa Snowapple invites artists to reimagine the heroic figure, moving away from the lone savior myth toward collective care and community action. They are seeking projects that celebrate everyday heroism: ordinary people working together for a more equitable world.
Applications close on August 20, 2026 (11:59 p.m. CDMX) or as soon as 100 applications are received.

The Fairy Queens – Discover our latest creation
FESTIVAL SEASON IS HERE ! Snowapple is hitting the road with a brand new production ! Snowapple Collective is thrilled to bring its latest creation, The Fairy Queens, to the Avignon Off Festival at La Scierie this summer. This bold production brings together four performers and special guest musicians to challenge social norms, desire and gender identity. Blending Shakespearean inspiration with Snowapple’s signature avant-garde style, this punk opéra is a playful cross between theater and a live concert. Expect a powerful mix of Baroque textures, vocal harmonies and electronic soundscapes. Are you ready to play your part in liberating desires? “She Ella” from our Utopia album selected at Odense International Film Festival (OFF26)
We are selected! We have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all. Our music video for “She Ella”, from our album Utopia, has been officially selected for the Music Video Competition Program at the prestigious Odense International Film Festival (OFF26) in Denmark. We are absolutely mind-blown. OFF is Denmark’s oldest film festival, running since 1975 and its only short film festival that qualifies for the Academy Awards, BAFTA, the EFA Award and the Danish Robert Award. This year, the festival received an astounding 4,092 submissions from all over the world. Only 30 music videos were selected for this brand-new competition program, and our DIY project made the cut. When and where The festival takes place in the heart of Denmark, in the city of Odense, from August 24th to August 30th. If you happen to be in Denmark at the end of August, you can watch “She Ella” on the big screen at the festival venues. For those located in Denmark, the selected films will also be available for two weeks on their streaming service, OFFstream.dk, which will be password-protected and geo-blocked.
