Snowapple Collective takes over Le Cirque Électrique in Paris with its latest creation The Fairy Queens.

Blending cabaret, opera, and electro-pop, The Fairy Queens is a bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s universe, where norms of gender and desire dissolve and transform. Inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the project I Remember, the piece brings together four performers and guest musicians to create a world in constant flux.

True to Snowapple Collective’s distinctive style, the work weaves together baroque textures, rich vocal harmonies and electronic soundscapes, in collaboration with electro-pop countertenor Ilel Elil. The result is an immersive and electrifying experience, somewhere between a live concert and a theatrical ritual…
