Snowapple Collective is delighted to participate in the next edition of the Avignon Off Festival with its new creation The Fairy Queens, performed at La Scierie.

Between cabaret, opera and electro-pop, The Fairy Queens is a bold Shakespeare-inspired creation exploring norms, desire and gender. Drawing from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the project I Remember, four performers joined by guest musicians, reimagine Shakespeare’s world, where identities shift and masks fall away.

True to Snowapple Collective’s signature style, the piece blends Baroque textures, vocal harmonies and electronic soundscapes in collaboration with electro-pop countertenor Ilel Elil. The result is a playful and immersive performance, somewhere between theatre and concert.
