In the Summer of 2021, Snowapple founded its first artist residency in Coyoacán, in Mexico City. The official opening is on October 7th, 2021. 

Casa Snowapple MX is an International Artistic Residence space designed to develop contemporary cultural projects among local and international artists. Located in one of the most emblematic and oldest neighborhoods of  Mexico City, the house is a meeting space, where various creative proposals reveal the art and culture of Mexico and the world.

Casa Snowapple MX will be an artist residency where we will host artists and guests from around the world. In this space we will organize a wide variety of workshops, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events such as bazaars, theater performances and much more. We will also have some rooms that will be rented as a bed & breakfast.

One of our missions is to support our sisters, therefore Casa Snowapple MX will be created and managed mainly by women. We are an inclusive house and we will welcome visitors from all over the world. One of the goals of the creation of Casa Snowapple MX is to offer safe spaces for the professional and personal development of the women of Mexico and the world and to spread the cultural wealth of people from different parts of the world and the country. We will offer a safe and free space in which we can be ourselves and in which we will integrate under the principle that we are all equal.

Casa Snowapple MX will be our first artistic residency and we are sure that we could not have chosen a better location than Mexico City.
